HIMSS remains highly engaged and supportive of innovation across the health IT sector, including the evolution of emerging standards such as HL7 FHIR, and other recommendations brought forward by the Jason Task Force. Together with our members, HIMSS contributes to advancements and innovation in health IT. We will continue to leverage our communications, events, and cause-based activities to advance interoperable health IT. Our intent is to ensure that healthcare stakeholders have the knowledge, tools, experiences, and best practices to make optimal decisions regarding the development, acquisition, deployment, and optimization of IT and management systems.
